This little light strip was better than expected. Of course it's not as bright as an LED strip, but it's a solid tube of light like a miniature neon tube, only flexible. Magic. It looks great on the DIY plane my son and I built and plugs directly into the receiver, no need for the clunky USB adapter. In fact, you should be able to order just the strip as our adapter will only get thrown away. I was sceptical about the quality to be honest, but now I see they're exactly what we wanted, I'm going to order some more colours and add them to other models. Only downside, item was shipped quickly but took over 2 months to deliver to NZ. I didn't realise there are often other shipping methods available and it's worth paying a little extra to get things quicker.
